We just had our first child about 6 weeks ago and now her birthday is very soon. She is not one to like flowers, I know I will take her to a nice dinner but what to get her is the question? I am not looking to spend a bunch as for the "push gift" 6 weeks ago I got her a new dinner table and chairs.
Help me with some ideas please....
I am looking for a birthday gift for my wife, any ideas???
Take your newborn and have a picture made with you and your child. Put it in a nice frame and go ahead and make reservations at a nice place and then drop the picture off at the restaurant before. Then have the server bring it at the end of the meal. She will be totally surprised and will really appreciate the fact of the efforts you made to make her night special. Best of luck.
Reply:she may Really appreciate a functional gift.
a diaper genie maybe tooo functional. an Ipod? what have you been putting off on getting for each other?
Reply:make her queen for a day. you can even buy a paper crown at a party supply store. prepare the meals, baby sit, let her have some time alone to do what she pleases. special touches, like finding notes telling her how you feel hidden in places she will go into, like drawers, under her pillow. you know her best.
Reply:Have you asked her what she wants? She could probably stand a good long nap! Give her time to herself. Maybe a hotel room or something like that. I know she (you too) is very tired. I'm sure you're are very capable of watching the little one for a while.
Reply:dvd
Reply:I am an artist selling my work if you are interested i can email you my link
Reply:spend the whole day with her. Allow her to take time off from the baby %26amp; u baby sit %26amp; have romance.
Wish ur wife happy b'day
Reply:How about a little personal gift. By personal, it mean something that you know she likes, maybe a night out with friends to a movie and you baby sit or whatever else her likes are... something totally unexpected.
Reply:How about getting her a gift certificate to a beauty shop for a pedicure, manicure, massage or a facial? I love it when my husband gets me that.
Reply:Sometimes the best gift cost no money at all. Try watching the baby for her and let her take a nice long bubble bath with nicely scented candles, her favorite book/magazine. Maybe make a dinner for her for a change or get her her favorite dessert. Put the baby down for the evening and rub her feet while she watches her favorite show.
Reply:How about a gift card for her favorite hair salon? Or to a lingerie shop (like Victoria's Secret) for new, non-maternity underwear? Or a boxset of her favorite perfume/body lotion. Depends on what's she's into. I know after having a baby she'd want to feel/look beautiful again. She deserves it!
Reply:Unique art gift is the best present.
I recommend http://www.photoartomation.com/ArtWork.h...
These guys convert digital photos into paintings of different art styles and print them on canvas. After you send them your photo they create a preview sample of your photo. It’s free.
I sent a digital photo of my wife (I wanted to give her a special present for Valentines Day) to photoartomation and they turned it into three gorgeous art samples that I could preview online. I had a hard time picking one because all three were really beautiful. Although their prices pretty high I was not disappointed because when I received my order the prepared artwork was much more impressive then online samples. And my wife was just speechless…
Reply:If your pocket allows, give her a diamond ring
Reply:I Really like Walt's Idea.
That is really special :)
