It is a plain birthday card with a flower design (not roses or anything romantic, just some flowers). All I am going to write is Happy Birthday or something simple like that.
I don't know him well enough to even think about buying him an actual gift. However, I am thinking of getting him a birthday card. Will this guy think I like him romantically if I get him a birthday card? Will he just think I am a nice person who wanted to get him a birthday card?
What are your opinions on this please?
Can I buy a man I just recently met a birthday card?
y not?
it just means ur bein nice
Reply:If you just keep your message light and cheery he will take it as a friendly gesture and will think you are kind.
Reply:He might think you like him romantically. If you do, then it all works out fine. If you don't like him romantically, then you may have to explane why you got him a birthday card. Either way it is a nice gesture on your part.
Reply:Sure nothing wrong with that
He'll know your thinking about him
Reply:Yes, a funny humorous card and you can even get him a gift. Keep it generic, like a great coffee blend, chocolate, nothing personal. Just say have a great B-day, leave it at that.
Reply:yes, you can.you do everything you think
Reply:He will think your a nice person. Unless there has been any other interaction on yours or his part... like flirting, staring, touching, ect. Then it might be a thought in the back of his mind.
Reply:Some time last year, I started going to a new coffee kiosk every now and again on my way to work (the people at the old one were ridiculously unsanitary...as in eew).
Well, the first time I went to the new stand, the guy at the window was the owner...Isaiah! He didn't have other customers at the moment and so we rambled on...I took a good friend there once, and three months later I was going to pick up coffee for said friend, and Isaiah remembered what it was!
His 30th birthday came up, and so I bought him a card with some Far Side comic about coffee and left it there for him...up until he sold the place, he had it hanging on the wall! He KNEW it wasn't anything romantic, just some good wishes for his birthday!
Absolutely nothing wrong with spreading some kindness around. We all need it more than we think.
Reply:It would be very thoughtful. Perhaps a more manly card though for a guy. Just sign it "your friend" instead of "love" and he will get the message.
Reply:I think that it's a nice idea. I would go for it.
What he would think..that depends on your future behaviour towards him..
Reply:buy him a funny one that way it can't be interpreted as romantic
