My mom is turning 41. I want to so something special for her. The only 2 things that is making it complicated is that 1. i am on a budget 2. my dad is on a wheelchair, so it is hard to take her somewhere because i want all three of us be together. Obviously diner and flowers no question, but i want something more. Any sujestions?
Any ideas of how to make my moms Birthday Day special?
plant her some flowers, write her a poem, have someone take a picture of the 3 of you and you could make a frame for it or scrapbook some pics of the family. Surprise her with a spotless car that you cleaned. I know that it sounds cliche but it is the thought that counts. It would mean more to your mom that you really wanted to make her day special than by spending a bunch of money. By the time your 41 you can buy stuff for yourself but you can't buy happy memories with your children. That reminds me.....I better get off the computer and spend some time with my kids!!
Reply:Throw a surprise party for her.
Take her to see a show (all places by law are required to be handicap accessible, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one)
Instead of dinner out, make her dinner at home and spend the dinner money at a spa (even just pedis would be nice)
Hope these help!
Reply:I know it sounds silly, but doing the house work for her and giving her a break, maby you and your dad could arrange for a pamper day, this can be done cheap, get some nice bubble bath and run her a wonderfull bath with rose petals then your dad could massage her feet while you give her a facial and a manicure. Then a nice picnic in a beautiful park, yummy food, good wine, her not having to lift a finger. Good Luck, you are wonderful to do something special for your mum. It sounds like she is always busy busy. Maby a movie to top it all off.
