How would you feel if you boyfriend didn't give you a birthday card or gift?

My boyfriend bragged to me 2 days before my birthday about what a wonderful boyfriend this girl in the office had, she got a huge bonquet of flowers from her boyfriend sent to her at work and she was so happy. Then he didn't get me flowers, a card nor a gift on my birthday. I was so hurt. My birthday was yesterday and I was so hurt. This tells me alot about him in my eyes.

Thats not COOL!!! I'd definitely ask why he didn't consider your birthday. By him mentioning someone else's bf being so nice and considerate, I'd be really, really ticked off. Try to get some answers from him.
Reply:O gurlie I know how u feel! My boyfriend did the same thing to me a couple months ago - and this was after I made a big deal about his birthday.. although he tried to make up for it, im still hurt about it.

Reply:At least a card would have been nice or him telling you happy birthday. I don't generally expect gifts, so when I do get one, I'm genuinely surprised. But, yeah, it would show that he either forgot or he just isn't thoughtful.
