Are flowers a good birthday present?

I made a topic about a girl i really like (but am not in a r/ship with yet) so click on my profile is you need more more backstory about that.

It's just that a friend of mine suggested flowers as a present for her birthday? What do you think, and also, how do you think i could give them to her (we both go to school by the way)?

Are flowers a good birthday present?
PART of a good present. It makes a nice lead-in to the Big Gift
Reply:As a girl, I always love to get flowers. It might be weird at school though - maybe at the end of the day? And don't go too overboard, pretty but simple. Good luck.
Reply:I haven't met a girl yet who doesn't like flowers. I, personally love carnations. They're reasonably priced and they last a lot longer than those high priced flowers. Ask your friend to ask this girl what her favorite color is, and add that color flower to the carnations. Also tie them with ribbon in her favorite color. Best of Luck!
Reply:flowers are pretty nice presents for someone you like.... it really will make her feel so feminine and it will boost her self-esteem... but 1 thing about giving flowers is that you are not sure if what kind of flower she likes or if she has allergies to that particular flower... also, flowers don't last long... so as to be safe, i suggest you give her something that will last long and those that she could actually use for future needs..... =)
Reply:Part of a gift , not the whole thing. Buy her some earrings to go with them , nothing expensive , girls like multiple gifts :))
Reply:Flowers would be nice but I think you should put some effort into something she really likes. Getting flowers from you might be too much, unless she wants that next move.
Reply:Girls love flowers!!! You could have them delivered to her house.
Reply:flowers r a good present. especially if they're r roses or her favorite. but she may find u creepy if ur not bf/gf yet. unless she knows u like her, or the flowers could get her to go out with u. idk...it's ur decision.
Reply:First you must find out if she likes flowers or not. If yes, you can give her flowers. If not, give the other present.

If I were that girl, I like what you really want to give me.
Reply:Yes, for your grandmother.
Reply:i dont know how old you are, but i always believe that flowers are a present for someone we dont know well, or a last time present. I think it would be better if you bought her a necklace or something like it. Not something expensive, but just to show her that you didnt just get her something without thinking her taste. A CD of her favourite band would be a great idea, or maybe a poster. Generally, without overdoing it, focus on getting her something that she had showed you she likes. That will count!
Reply:Flowers will win her heart, but you should make sure that she does not have any allergies to them (that would not be good, but if she does... have them wrapped in a plastic film).
Reply:YUP!! DO IT. I did it and she loved it. I got her 24 roses, and some balloons. What else can you get a girl thats really nice lol. You cant buy her cloths or makeup HAHAA so get her flowers, some balloons and maybe some chochalate in a nice box.
Reply:All girls love two things, flowers and jewelry. You can't ever go wrong with those two things. Since she's not a long time g/f stay away from red roses, those are too forward. Go with something that is summery with lots of color. Most flower shops can help you pick something out that is in your price range and doesn't look like it's for your grandma. Good Luck
Reply:Very great idea. most ladies like flowers but i think you should add a nice birthday card as well.
Reply:Don't send her roses or carnations... Those are wedding and funeral flowers!

Instead, send a bouquet of daisies like this: http://ww22.1800flowers.com/product.do?b...

In the card, say "Beautiful daisies for a beautiful girl. Happy Birthday! Your name" Then she HAS to come up to you and thank you. Have them delivered to school so that she's called to the office to pick them up! My boyfriend did that to me a few times, and it made all my friends jealous because I had someone who cared enough to do that. (Helped that his mom is a florist... lol)
Reply:Can't hurt,go for it.
