Reply:Aww, sounds like you've put a bit of thought into it. Lily's sounds sweet. White with a few pink orchids to contrast could be quite striking. Go with your gut, you know her best. I'm sure she'll be quite touched no matter what you choose! Good Luck!

I want to send a celebrity some flowers for there birthday does internatinational flora know ther address?
Well you won't be able to get their personal address, you will have to find their agent and the agent's address. You would send it to the celebrity c/o name of agent, etc. The agent would then give it to the celebrity. Celebrities are very protective of their privacy (and so they don't make their addresses public knowledge) and for good reason.
I want to send a celebrity some flowers for there birthday does internatinational flora know ther address?
Forget about international flora, for a finders I'll get you the address...send the money via Payfriend.

Hi guys , I wanna give a girl that I love Flowers on her birthday , do you think red roses are good ?
it is about 1 month that we date , and I wanna show her my love , however I am sure that she thinks that we are not together yet!
so red roses would be good or it is too early?if so what should I get her ?
thanks
Hi guys , I wanna give a girl that I love Flowers on her birthday , do you think red roses are good ?
Red roses are a good traditional flower to express love.
If you want to save them though for a more special occation, like after dating for a year or so...I would say go with Lilies or daiseys for now. Also you can always ask the florist...they know all there is to know about this subject haha.
Oh also get a different colored rose...like yellow, pink, or orange etc. Those work too...they are a good gesture without going overboard.
Reply:Red roses would be very nice, providing she likes roses, you need to find out what is her favorite flower and get her a dozen of those..
Save the red roses for Valentines day
Best of Luck
Reply:Red roses are saying I love you without verbalizing it. Yes - way too early if she thinks you are not together yet. If it's only been a month - you don't have a friendship close enough for yellow roses either. Skip the roses and buy a mixed boquet or birthday arrangement in a vase.
Reply:Give her 1 red rose and say "here's is 1 Rose. Every month you'll gain another until you have more then a house can hold"...that would be sooo, romantic!

Would it be better to order flowers to be delivered to mom tomorrow or deliver them myelf?
Its her birthday tomorrow, and I want her to get a big bouquet. Its about $50 or more dollars for a decent little birthday one. Is it cheaper to get it myself? Also, I wont be able to get to moms work until after 2:00. Do you think its more fun to get flowers delivered by a delivery guy or her daughter?
Would it be better to order flowers to be delivered to mom tomorrow or deliver them myelf?
I have always wanted flowers delivered to me but she might want to see you.
If she sees you all the time have them delivered that would be more fun.
She would not know who they are from at first and it will make her wonder and I think that would be more exciting
Reply:The delivery guy.
Reply:Delivered, it suprises her and you can then send her a cute card with it.
Reply:definately more fun to get delivered.
Reply:By the delivery guy if he's wearing shorts, no shirt, and does a dance.
She would prefer that you deliver the flowers yourself regardless of cost. It would mean more.
Reply:I would want my daughter to come and bring me my flowers :-)
Reply:I'm quite sure that she'd love to see you.
Reply:Of course by her daughter. It's a lot more personal, and I doubt she will mind if if come in the afternoon.
Reply:What you could do is buy and have delivered a smaller bunch of flowers...then...buy a single white rose and give it to her in the afternoon and tell her the single rose is because she is a singularly great mom and the single rose is because alone, like the rose, she stands out from all the rest. trust me, she will love the thought of the delivery to her workplace and love you for the sentiment of the rose.

Poinsettia longevity and tips?
Costco has some beautiful Poinsettias right now for the holiday season. My mother loves flowers and the such. Her birthday is January 3rd, and I was thinking of getting her one for her birthday, however I'm not exactly familiar with how often they should be watered or their longevity? I'm worried if I wait to buy it after Christmas, they will all be gone.
My question is, if I bought it next weekend, would it last another week and a half with proper care? And what tips would you give me regarding caring for it? Obviously as I am up in Canada and we're expecting a blizzard tonight, it'll be kept indoors.
Poinsettia longevity and tips?
Choose a plant that looks healthy and does not have wilted looking blooms. Ask the clerk at the store for a bag, preferably paper, to put the plant in so that it won't suffer from the cold when you move it from the warmer indoor temps to the cold outside as you transport it home. Water it lightly when you get home and it should be just fine until her birthday.
The blooms ( actually the plant's leaves which have changed color ) should last another couple of weeks depending on the plant and when it came into "bloom". I've had blooms last up to a month beyond the holidays.
I have kept Poinsettias for many seasons. Just keep them watered as you would any houseplant.
Reply:Poinsettias are perennials that with proper care will last for years. This is therir peak time right now so it you don't overwater it and it has the right amount of sun and no drafts it will do fine.
My one suggestion, when you buy one take a bag for it and put it in the bag in the store. Even the small time its outdoors in the wind and cold will be a shock to it. I live in a cooler zone 5 so know the effect of cold air on the plants..
I just did an article on poinsettia care that you may want to read. It covers taking care of it through the entire year. Good luck! Denise http://thegardenersrake.com

Anyone remember how to make tissue or crepe paper trees?
I am having a Dora birthday paper and I made giant tissue paper flowers. Now I would like to remember how to make those tissue or crepe paper trees. Any ideas? Seems you use tissue rolls and crepe paper.
Anyone remember how to make tissue or crepe paper trees?
Take 12 large sheets of tissue paper and fold back and forth like a fan. Put a piece of wire in the middle to hang. The cut the end round or pointed. The pull apart the layer of tissue paper into a flower shape. Martha Stewart has a kit at Michaels Craft store very easy. Good Luck ;)))))

The necklace i'm planning to get her has a golden flower on it. is it appropriate or should i get her something else?
Is it appropriate for me to give a necklace for my cousin's 14th birthday?
sure!why not?what is important is that you'll give her a gift on her special day regardless of how much money you spent with it.I'm sure she'll be happy to receive it..:)
Reply:That sounds beautiful... How sweet...
Reply:it's fine as long as that is the only golden flower of hers you ever see.
unless you're in mississippi
Reply:At her age, the answer is NO and I suppose that the necklace it's epensive.A necklace it's a propper gift for a girlfriend or a wife.
Reply:yes
Reply:Just the fact that you asked, makes me wonder... why not just a card and a gift card? are you in love with her? Why are you so worried if it is appropriate or not? If you are concerned, better stick to generic things, like a gift card...
strange..... strange question
Reply:Why is this question in Single and Dating!?!? What are your intentions for giving a gold necklace as a gift?
Reply:Why wouldn't it be and why is this question under singles/dating?
Reply:sure..
Reply:I think it's appropriate if you think it's appropriate.
In other words, you decide...
Necklaces are nice, especially when you're fourteen...
Reply:why wouldnt you be able to give it to her?
Reply:its the thought that counts...
Reply:Yes it would be a nice gift to give she will love it all girls love jewelry
Reply:Yes it is a nice gift
Reply:Yes, it's perfectly perfect for a 14 year old. I would just explain to her the value of it, both financial and emotional value it has. This way she'll cherish it and realize it's worth.
Reply:I hope she a girl. This is okay, depending on how much money was spent for the necklace.
Reply:Yes, I think that is really cute!!! Teenage girls love jewelry.
Reply:well i don't see anything wrong with it. why wouldn't you give her a necklace. well it all depends is that what she wants or do you want it to be a surprise. i don't see anything wrong with giving a 14 year old a necklace. i think it will teach her responsibility too. learn to take care of things. looking at it she's going to say wow this looks quite expensive i should really take care of it.
Reply:yes
Reply:It sounds like a great gift!
Reply:I think a necklace would be nice. But not silver because it turns black and you HAVE to clean it. Maybee white/gold. Silver is a pain. It is okay to buy that.
Reply:i hope these are not sexual references, that's gross if so
if not, perfectly ok
